The Cambridge Academic Editors Network (CAEN), founded in 1993, is a group of freelance editors and other communication professionals based in the Cambridge, Massachusetts area.
CAEN members work with clients locally and worldwide. We provide services for students, faculty, researchers, and other individuals as well as for publishing companies, research institutes, and nonprofit agencies. We have experience with many types of editing and publishing services, and we work in a wide range of subject areas.
To find an editor or other publishing professional, browse our alphabetical listing of CAEN members, or search by either area of expertise or subject area. Consider reviewing several freelancers' summaries of skills and experience to identify one or more who represent the best "match" for your project. If no CAEN member's skills appear to match your project needs, please contact us at info@cambridge-editors.org for further assistance.
In addition to lists of CAEN members, this website offers information about editorial procedures and the types of work editors perform, as well as a listing of—and links to—additional resources.
The Cambridge Academic Editors Network (CAEN) is an informal, unincorporated network with nearly 150 members. CAEN is neither an employment agency nor a contracting entity. Members are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their listings. CAEN makes no representation as to the accuracy of the listings or as to the qualifications of individual members.
